CISSP, Software Architect for Trend Micro and InfoSec Blogger
For the last six years I have been working in Information Security and I have definitely found my niche. Information Security is such a broad topic that it's impossible to get bored. By 2007, when I wrote the CISSP test I was hooked on InfoSec. At Trend Micro (formerly Third Brigade) I'm a Software Architect on the Java team, responsible for producing Deep Security Manager, our Security Center portal and the OfficeScan Intrusion Defense Firewall. In addition to producing these products, I have been involved in our secure development program, Common Criteria certification and patent development.
Before my current work in InfoSec, I worked as a Web and Software developer. I have produced over 30 Websites (including Trekkies2.com for Paramount Pictures), and seven major software products. On the side I maintain an open source project that integrates FogBugz in Eclipse (sourceforge.net/projects/eclipsebugz/).
I live in Ottawa, Canada with my wife and two children.
